As irregularities related to the temple trust are coming to light in Ayodhya, new revelations are being made. Till yesterday there was talk about small fishes, now the exploits of big fishes are also coming to light. According to police sources, big deals of the last five years are coming to light in the investigation.
In 2017, the entire land in Ayodhya was agricultural and was sold for ₹ 2 crore. On March 18, 2021, 2 different shares were sold on the same day. One to Teerth Kshetra for ₹ 80 lakh, the other to Ansari-Tiwari for ₹ 2 crore. After 6 months, the same portion which was sold for ₹2 crore was sold to Tirtha Kshetra for ₹18.5 crore.
The area of land in Ayodhya was Krishikhasra/House/Gata No.: 242/1, 242/2, 243, 244, 246. In the year 2017, 2.334 hectares of land was sold for approximately Rs 2 crores. This land was divided into two separate parts and sold in a single day on March 18, 2021. One to Teerth Kshetra for 80 lakhs and the other to Sultan Ansari and Ravi Tiwari for two crores. The same part of this land which was sold for two crores. It was sold to Teerth Kshetra for Rs 18.5 crore.
Anil Mishra is under suspicion
On March 18, 2021, when Sultan Ansari and Ravi Tiwari purchased this land from Kusum Pathak and Harish Pathak, Anil Mishra became the witness of that purchase on paper. On the same day, when this land was sold for the second time, it was sold to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Anil Mishra also became a witness to this deal.
Anil Mishra was aware of both the deals. In such a situation, the allegation against him is whether he deliberately got the trust to buy this deal at a higher price. Especially when he himself was a trustee. Not only this, the second part of the same land was sold to the pilgrimage area after 6 months for Rs 18.5 crore. Anil Mishra also became his witness.
The Supreme Court, in its Ayodhya dispute verdict of 9 November 2019, had given major instructions to the Central Government to provide alternative land for the construction of the temple and mosque:
Trust for Temple: The Central Government was directed to formulate a plan within three months and constitute a trust named ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra’ for the construction and management of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
land for mosque: Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board was directed to allot 5 acres of land for the construction of a mosque at a suitable and prominent place in Ayodhya itself.
Role of Nirmohi Akhara: The Supreme Court had directed in its decision that Nirmohi Akhara should also be given proper representation (place) in the trust formed by the government.
What did Nirmohi Akhara counselor Tarun Lal say?
Senior lawyer of Ayodhya and counselor of Nirmohi Akhara, Tarun Lal Verma told how Anil Mishra had dominance in the buying and selling of land. He told that the same land was sold to two people on the same day and the witness of both the people was none other than Anil Mishra.
