
An important meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is going to be held on Monday amid the controversy that has been going on for several days over the issue of theft of offerings in Ram temple of Ayodhya. This is the first meeting of the trust after the controversy. Many big decisions are also expected to be taken in the meeting. It is also being claimed that the resignations of the Trust officials can be accepted and the names of the new Trust officials will also be brainstormed. Some names are also being discussed in this.
After the donation theft incident, the meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to be held today is considered very important. In the meeting, along with accepting the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra, changes in the leadership of the Trust, appointment of a new General Secretary and a new Trustee can also be approved.
VHP General Secretary is ahead in the race
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International General Secretary Bajranglal Bagra is said to be the frontrunner for the post of General Secretary, while the names of Krishnamohan and Neeraj Dauneria are also in discussion. After the acceptance of the resignations of both, 3 seats will become vacant in the trust. It is expected that all three names will be approved in this meeting itself. Or the decision will be taken by calling the next meeting soon.
This meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will be held from 3 pm at the Passenger Facilitation Center of Janmabhoomi complex located at Maniramdas’s cantonment in Ayodhya. The eyes of the whole country are on the meeting to be held after this theft incident related to the faith of crores of Ram devotees.
There will be discussion on organizational future
The resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra will be considered first in the agenda of the meeting. If the resignations are accepted today, the way may be cleared for major changes in the organizational structure of the Trust. The name of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s International General Secretary Bajranglal Bagra is being considered for the post of General Secretary. Bagra has also reached Ayodhya. Apart from him, the name of Trustee Krishnamohan is also in discussion.
It is also being told that consideration can be given to including Neeraj Dauneria, Organization Minister of Indraprastha region of Vishwa Hindu Parishad as a new member in the Trust. This appointment can be made in place of late trustee Bimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra.
Audit report will also be discussed
In the meeting, the SIT investigating the offering theft case will also present its interim report before the Trust. The 3-member SIT formed on June 13 has so far arrested 8 accused and the investigation into the case is ongoing. In this entire episode, FIR was lodged on behalf of Trustee Krishnamohan.
The audit report for the financial year 2025-26 will also be discussed in the trust meeting. Apart from this, decisions are also likely to be taken on the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust, improvement in the administrative system of the temple and other important topics of the agenda.
Who is Bajrang Lal Bagra?
Bajrang Lal Bagra has long experience in both the fields of organization and administration. Bagra, a resident of Sikar district of Rajasthan, has previously been the chairman of NALCO. After voluntary retirement, he played an active role in Vishwa Hindu Parishad and is currently the International General Secretary.
Bagra, a chartered accountant by profession, is being considered a strong contender for the post of General Secretary due to his extensive experience in organizational operations and financial management.
