A deal may be reached in the next few hours in the ongoing war between America and Iran. Not only America, its signals have also been given by Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said on Friday that the work on finalizing the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tehran and Washington is now closer than ever. He also appealed to the media to avoid speculating about its content.
Aragchi said that the details of the presented agreement will be made public after the completion of the process. He described this step as part of Iran’s commitment towards responsible and transparent thinking. Aragchi said, “The work of finalizing the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding is now at its closest. Until it is finalized, the media should refrain from speculating about its content.” He also said that all the information will be shared with the public at the right time.
However, the Associated Press quoted three regional officials as saying that Washington and Tehran were close to signing an agreement, although final terms were still being worked out. Some reports say that Iran and America are busy preparing their delegation teams to sign the agreement.
The Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has never been closer. Pending its finalization, the media should refrain from entering speculation about its content.
In line with our responsible and transparent approach, all details will be shared with the public in due course.

Where did the talks reach on the deal?
According to AP, a senior US official said that this initial agreement includes provisions for the removal and destruction of Iran’s nuclear material. This has been an important issue of long-running tension between the two countries. A White House official told AFP on Friday that Iran had agreed to dismantle its nuclear program and destroy nuclear material under the deal with the United States, although the two sides gave different versions of the deal.
Strait of Hormuz will open after signing of MoU!
The senior administration official said Tehran will not receive any frozen funds unless it meets its commitments under the ‘performance-based deal’ and has also agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz.
