VHP’s international president Alok Kumar has written a letter to Ayodhya CO Ashutosh Tiwari. It has been said in the letter that for an impartial, large-scale factual investigation of the FIR lodged at Ram Janmabhoomi police station, the statements of the leaders who have made serious allegations in public should also be recorded. Public statements of four prominent leaders have been mentioned in the letter.

These leaders have made serious allegations of theft of offerings and financial irregularities in Ram temple on TV channels, social media and public forums. Some leaders have made claims of alleged irregularities ranging from ₹200 crore to ₹20,000 crore. It was said in the letter that if such big allegations have been made then it is possible that they may have some facts, documents or information in this regard.

The letter has quoted Priyanka Gandhi’s statement in which she had raised the question whether only small employees can misappropriate donations worth thousands of crores by switching off CCTV, or is there a role of big people also behind this?
Demand for action against false allegations also
The letter said that if a person gives credible material in support of his allegations, it will help the investigating agency to reach the truth. But if the investigation finds that the allegations are deliberately false, careless or without any basis, then action under law against the concerned people should also be considered.
