India’s rising gymnasts Harshit Damodaran and Akshat Bajaj brought glory to the country by winning gold and silver medals in this tournament. This is the first time that India has captured both the top-2 positions simultaneously in any event of this championship.

Special training in London

Talking about this big achievement, Indian men’s gymnastics team coach Rakesh Patra told PTI, ‘The boys have achieved a huge achievement. He had taken very good training in the National Camp organized in Bhubaneswar a month ago. As part of his preparation, I also took him to London.
