Worship method of Asha Dashami (Asha Dashami Puja Method)
On the day of Asha Dashami, fasting women should wake up before sunrise and take bath. After this, take a pledge to fast with a pure body and pure mind. Then clean the worship place. Spread a red cloth there and place the idol or picture of Mother Parvati. Then worship Goddess Asha by offering Roli, sandalwood, flowers, incense, lamp and kheer. Read or listen to the Vrat Katha during the puja. Meditate on Goddess Asha and pray for good luck. Eat satvik food after puja.
Rules of Asha Dashami (Rules of Asha Dashami)
- Keep Asha Dashami fast for at least six months or for one to two years.
- Start it from Ashadh Shukla Paksha.
- Perform Udyapan at the end of the fast.
- On this day, observe night vigil with married women.
- Donate to Brahmins, needy and poor.
