Arijit Singh’s manager’s statement
Arijit Singh Speaking to ThePrint, Arijit’s manager said, “Arijit is just completing the projects which were finalized before announcing his retirement. He is not returning to playback singing. These are old commitments.”
‘Awarapan 2’ old project
This statement makes it clear that Arijit has not returned to playback singing. When he retired, he had said that his songs would continue to be released for some time to come. He will complete the already committed projects and will not sign new projects. That is, Arijit’s song from ‘Awarapan 2’ is not his comeback song, but he had become a part of this project before retirement.
