‘Kam bole chhe…’
He said, “The vision of development of the government is clear, now the industry has to take it forward. ‘Nishan Chook Maaf, Paan Nahi Maaf Neechu Nishan’ i.e. if a big target is missed then it is forgiven, but setting a small target is not forgiven.” Subbaiah further said, “In Gujarat it is said ‘Kaam bole chhe’ i.e. work speaks. Today the first consignment of chips is being sent to Japan. India has now become a part of the global supply chain of semiconductors.
‘Are you listening Vinod?’
PM Modi answered this in his own style. He said, ‘Subbaiah ji said, ‘Forgive the mark for mistake, but do not forgive the lowly mark’. I never set small goals. If I want to make a statue, I will make the tallest statue in the world. Here he pointed towards Sardar Patel’s Statue of Unity. After this the PM threw the second punch, ‘and Subbaiah ji said less spoke’…. ‘Are you listening Vinod?’…come speak che’. At this dialogue of PM, the people present on the stage and the crowd laughed loudly and started clapping.
