According to documents and a source, the data-stealing ransomware group has posted some files on the dark web. These files include sensitive information and photos of parts and suppliers of the iPhone 18 Pro model.

The new documents reviewed by Reuters show that there are at least six such files in which information about various parts of the iPhone 18 Pro model and the companies that supply them is given. These include information about the chips on the main circuit board and parts of the battery and camera.
According to a person with knowledge of the matter, Apple considers this information sensitive and is concerned that the documents relate to models that have not yet been released. This data contains information about the relationship between iPhone parts and the companies that supply them. AppleInsider first reported last week that the documents related to the iPhone 18 Pro were part of the Tata leak.
According to a source with knowledge of the matter, many of the leaked files contained Apple’s confidential watermarks and Apple’s internal code-names related to the iPhone 18 Pro generation. The folder containing the iPhone 18 Pro files contains images of an iPhone undergoing a drop test at a Tata plant, with a launch date of 2026. These pictures show a typical slab-shaped, gray colored handset, with three cameras and Apple logo on the back.

Millions of files leaked in data leak
Reuters had earlier reported that World Leaks had leaked more than 2,00,000 files of Tata Electronics on the dark web. These files included design documents of old iPhones and some Tesla parts. Both of them are clients of Tata. These also included documents from Taiwan Semi-Conductor Manufacturing Company and Qualcomm, both of which make parts used in iPhones.
