After iPhone Air, now preparations are going on for the second generation iPhone Air 2 of this phone, this phone can be launched next year in 2027. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, people with knowledge of the matter have indicated that this phone may come next year. The Air model was launched in September last year but the customers did not like this phone, perhaps this is the reason why the company can take some time and launch the next generation model next year instead of this year. Air 2 can be brought with standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e next year.
Rumors related to iPhone Air 2
It is being said that the Air 2 prototype, whose internal code-name is V62, is currently in the advanced testing phase. The biggest change is the addition of a second rear camera. The current iPhone Air sports a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and according to Gurman’s sources, the single-lens system has been the most common complaint from customers about the device. The Air 2 is also expected to feature an ultrawide lens alongside the existing main camera, although there is no sign of adding a telephoto lens at this stage.
Battery life may improve
Work is also going on to improve the battery life, but it is not clear whether the improvement in battery life will be because of the bigger battery or because of the chip or because of the software. The chassis of the Air model is so compact that fitting a larger battery can be difficult, as its thin profile has been the main feature of this device from the beginning. It is expected that its overall design will remain the same as the current model. A20 Pro chip can be used in Air 2.
