The Commerce Department lifted the restrictions, Secretary Howard Latnick told the company that it no longer needs a license to export or domestically transfer its Claude Mythos and Claude Fable AI models. According to the report, a letter written to the company said that Anthropic has taken steps with the US government to address the risks associated with Cloud Mythos 5 and Cloud Fable 5.
