Anand Bakshi got his first opportunity in 1958 in Brij Mohan’s film Bhala Aadmi. There were four songs written by him in this film. Nisar Bazmi gave music in this film. Anand Bakshi’s first song as a singer- Spring came out in the gardens and a call came on my lips… Yes, it was a duet song. This song was recorded with Lata Mangeshkar. Anand Bakshi also sang another solo song in the same film, the lyrics were- I was searching in dreams… Anand Bakshi sang these songs in the 1972 film Mom Ki Gudiya. The director was- Mohan Kumar. The music director was Lakshmi Kant Pyarelal.
