
After the rebellion of six MPs of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), party chief Uddhav Thackeray called an important meeting of his MLAs and Legislative Council members at Shivalaya office in Mumbai on Monday. In the meeting, issues related to keeping the organization strong, upcoming political strategy and public interest were discussed. This meeting started at 3 o’clock, which lasted for about 2 hours.

However, after the meeting, the leader of opposition in the Legislative Council, Ambadas Danve, while giving information to the media, said that Uddhav Thackeray has instructed all the MLAs to raise the public issues loudly. Also, Uddhav Thackeray himself will visit the Lok Sabha constituencies of the MPs who have left the party and will raise their issues among the public.
Uddhav Thackeray, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut and 17 party MLAs and 5 Legislative Council members were present in the meeting. Many prominent MLAs including Aditya Thackeray, Ajay Chaudhary, Sunil Raut, Bhaskar Jadhav, Kailash Patil, Dilip Sopal, Mahesh Sawant, Anant Bala Nar, Haroon Khan attended the meeting.
UBT MLAs showed solidarity
Legislative Council members including Sachin Ahir, Anil Parab, Milind Narvekar and Ambadas Danve were also present. For the time being, all the MLAs unanimously talked about staying loyal to Uddhav Thackeray and the party and also said that till now they have not received any offer from anyone and even if it comes, they are not going to accept it.
After the meeting, party MLAs also tried to give a message of unity. MLA Mahesh Sawant said that he has not received any proposal and he stands firmly with Uddhav Thackeray.
Meanwhile, Barsi MLA Dilip Sopal said that till now no proposal has come from any other party and at present he is with the party. On the other hand, MLA Anant Bala Nar claimed that no matter how big the proposal is, he will not break the public trust and will not leave the Thackeray family and the party.
Uddhav engaged in strengthening the organization
Before the meeting, heavy police arrangements were made outside and inside the Shivalaya office. Anti-riot squad was also deployed. Mumbai Police took this step as a precautionary measure keeping in mind the law and order situation.
According to sources, Uddhav Thackeray will no longer be limited to only the MLAs, but in the coming days, he will also meet the party corporators and officials separately and work on the strategy to strengthen the organization.
It is noteworthy that after six MPs of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) left the party, now the party is left with three MPs in the Lok Sabha and one MP in the Rajya Sabha.
