America celebrated 250 years of its independence on July 4. On this occasion, President Donald Trump said that America is stronger than ever and people’s love for the country has increased more than ever. He said that despite the scorching heat, a large number of people participated in the celebrations in Washington DC. Trump wrote on social media platform
Trump said that the air show organized this time was the best ever. Praising the American pilots and the modern army aircraft, he said that there was an excellent display of the country’s strength and technology. At the end of his message he said, Happy Independence Day. Our country is stronger than ever. Our critics will never understand that America was not built solely by its own mistakes. To make mistakes is human nature, but our accomplishments are what make us Americans.

Vance gave a speech in New York
On this occasion, Vice President JD Vance addressed the program organized in New York Harbor. Referring to the Declaration of Independence of 1776, he said that the principles written in it like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness still inspire every American. He said that even after 250 years, these words remain the identity of America and hold the same power in the hearts of people.
Vance said that the American Revolution was not a sudden event, but was the result of long-standing democratic and civilizational values. He reminded that when George Washington read the Declaration of Independence to his soldiers, he understood its importance very well. Vance said that this document was not written for historians, but for the common people and soldiers who laid the foundation of a new country.
Trump called US an extraordinary country
A day before this, in an event organized at Mount Rushmore, Trump described George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt as great leaders of America. He said that these leaders showed America the path to freedom and strength. Describing America as the most extraordinary country in human history, Trump said that his government is committed to carrying forward the legacy of the country’s founders.
The program will run throughout the year
According to the White House, the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary is not limited to just July 4. This program started on Memorial Day (May 26) 2025 and will continue throughout 2026. Along with the central and state governments, private companies, non-government organizations, educational institutions and common citizens are also participating in this. Due to this, 250 years of independence is being celebrated across the country.
