America is preparing to jump into another war. According to Politico, the Pentagon has prepared a plan for the operation in Cuba. The plan has been sent to President Donald Trump for approval. If Trump approves this plan then Cuba and America A war may begin between them. So far this year i.e. 2026, America has already attacked 2 countries.
According to the report, the Trump administration had earlier hoped that after the economic sanctions, there would be a coup in Cuba on its own, but even after economic and political pressure, America could not shake the Communist Party government in Cuba, hence now the Trump administration is considering military action. For quite some time now, America has been continuously increasing its military presence in the Caribbean waters.
As part of this exercise, the USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier Strike Group reached the Caribbean in May, along with which several guided missile destroyers and cruisers have also been deployed. These ships are capable of carrying out accurate missile attacks on land. Apart from this, American drones and surveillance aircraft are said to be active around Cuba for several months.
Why does America want to attack Cuba?
During the cabinet meeting with President Trump on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed concern that an unstable country near America could become a major threat to America’s security. Rubio said that Cuba is unstable and there are many difficulties there.
For the past few days, China’s interference in Cuba has been continuously increasing. China has made many deals with Cuba. On the other hand, after controlling Venezuela, America is trying to capture Cuba. Under this mission, preparations are being made to attack Cuba.
Now know the military strength of Cuba also
Cuba’s biggest strength is its War of All the People policy. This means that if the country is attacked, not only the army but also civilians, militia and paramilitary forces will join the fight.
Talking about the army, at present Cuba has about 50 thousand active soldiers, 39 thousand reserve soldiers and about 90 thousand paramilitary members. Like Iran, the Cuban government has divided the army into different sections. In case of war, the army unit is free to take its own decisions.
Cuba is considered an expert in guerrilla fighting. Around 1970, Cuba had brought America to its knees through guerrilla war.
