America’s Intelligence Department Director Tulsi Gabbard has resigned from her post on Friday. She was a part of President Donald Trump’s cabinet, and was appointed to the post of Director of National Intelligence. Tulsi Gabbard has taken this decision regarding her husband’s health. According to Fox News Agency, Tulsi Gabbard wrote in her resignation letter that she has resigned to support her husband in battling an extremely rare type of bone cancer.
In the letter, Tulsi Gabbard said about Trump that I am extremely grateful for the trust you have shown in me and the opportunity you have given me to lead the office of the National Intelligence Director for the last one and a half years.
Tulsi Gabbard was sworn in as Director of National Intelligence in February last year. He said, unfortunately, I will have to tender my resignation with effect from June 30, 2026. My husband Abraham was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer.
