Amazing negligence of NTA! Abu Dhabi exam center given to NEET candidate, admitted mistake after complaint

June 20, 2026 by Uma Shankar

On one hand, the government is making efforts to conduct the NEET re-exam in a better way, on the other hand, the era of negligence is not showing any signs of ending. In this examination which was to be conducted again on June 21, a NEET candidate from Nagpur was mistakenly allotted the exam center of Abu Dhabi (UAE). Due to an alleged technical glitch by the National Testing Agency (NTA), student Abdullah got the Abu Dhabi center for the NEET re-exam to be held on June 21.

With only one day left for the exams, students and their families are worried. Earlier, Abdullah was allotted the examination center in Nagpur itself. The student had given preference to Nagpur, Wardha for the center in the application. Despite this, NTA directly allotted foreign exam centers instead of local options. In such a situation, it is not possible to complete the passport and visa process and reach abroad within 24 hours.

After getting information about the matter, the parents lodged a complaint on the NTA helpline. The officials have accepted the technical mistake at the initial stage and the possibility of changing the examination center has been expressed. National Testing Agency (NTA) will send important information related to the exam and center related information to the candidates appearing in the re-examination of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 through its official WhatsApp channel.

According to the agency, this initiative has been started so that the candidates can get the necessary information directly. There should not be any kind of confusion before the re-examination to be held on June 21, 2026.
