Alpha Box Office: Alia Bhatt-Sharvari Wagh’s Alpha is amazing amid criticism, passes weekend test, recovers half of the budget

Alpha Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 3: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s film Alpha has completed its first week of release in theatres. Before the release, there was a huge buzz among the fans about the film and it was believed that this film would be a huge earner. It was even being compared to Dhurandhar. But after the release of the film, nothing like that was seen; on the contrary, criticism started pouring in. But amidst all this, this film has performed well at the box office. The film has earned Rs 13.25 crore on its first Sunday i.e. the third day of earnings. Even though the film is facing trolls, the earnings of the film are still impressive.

According to SACNL reports, Alpha earned Rs 9.25 crore on the opening day. On the second day, the film earned 11.50 crores with the following increase and on the third day the collection of the film was 13.25 crores. On the basis of net collection, this movie has earned Rs 34 crore in 3 days. Its gross collection was Rs 40.80 crore. In terms of overseas collection, the film has earned Rs 18 crore in the first weekend, which is fantastic. On an average, this film is earning Rs 6 crore every day from abroad. The worldwide collection of Alpha has reached Rs 58.80 crore in 3 days.

Half of the budget recovered

alpha film The estimated budget is believed to be between Rs 120-130 crore. The film has earned around Rs 60 crore in 3 days. Meaning that the film has recovered half of its budget. But now it has to be seen how the craze of fans regarding this film remains during weekdays and how much this film earns from Monday to Thursday. If Alpha manages to make decent collections on weekdays, the film will definitely recover its budget in the weekends.
