Ms Dhoni Movie: Director Neeraj Pandey had brought a sports drama film named ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ in the year 2016. This film is the biopic of former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of Dhoni in this picture. And he was also liked a lot in this character. But when work on the film was going on, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had expressed his desire to play the role of Dhoni.

Why did the director reject Akshay Kumar?
According to IMDB trivia, when the cast of the film was not signed, Akshay Kumar Had shown interest in Dhoni’s role. He wanted to play this character. However, due to the similarity between Dhoni and his looks, director Neeraj Pandey lovingly rejected Akshay for this film.
Why was Sushant cast?
The makers found Sushant Singh Rajput perfect for the role of Dhoni. In such a situation, Sushant got this film. Former cricketer Kiran More and Dhoni himself also trained Sushant. Sushant had also learned Dhoni’s popular helicopter shot. Sushant had worked very hard for this film and he looked a lot like Dhoni on screen. People gave him a lot of love in this role.
