The film Sayara had a great collection at the box office. From the story to the songs of this film, it captured people’s hearts and minds, but recently when Akshay Kumar was talking about the success of this film, he forgot the names of lead actor Ahaan Pandey and actress Aneet Padda. Currently, Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is in theaters and is performing well. Regarding this film, he had given the example of ‘Sayara’.
During a conversation with a news agency, when Akshay Kumar was asked about the perception that only multi-starrer or very big films are successful in theatres, then while answering this question, the actor gave the example of ‘Sayara’.
What did Akshay say about Saira?
Responding to the question, actor Akshay Kumar said, “If the film is destined to happen, then somehow or the other the film will run (it will be successful).” He further gave the example of Saira, but forgot the names of the lead actors for a moment. After this he asked, “Recently a film named ‘The New Boy and New Girl’ was released, which film was that? After this director Ahmed Khan reminded him of the name of the film.
After this Akshay Kumar said, “Yes, Saira. I want to ask in which event the film was released? There was no event, just its songs were hit and the romance of the film was also a hit. This is what the audience liked. The boy and the girl acted well and they were lucky and the film became a hit.”
‘Sayara’ was a huge hit
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sayyara’ became the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025. This romantic drama film of newcomers Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda touched the hearts of people. It has also become the highest grossing Indian romantic film till date.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’
The film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is an action comedy genre film, in which a corrupt businessman starts shooting for the film to convert his black money into white. The movie has many big actors like Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff.
Budget and release
This film has been released in theaters on 26 June 2026 and is tickling people. It is expected that the craze about the film will continue among the audience in the coming days also. This multi-starrer film, made with a budget of approximately Rs 300 crore, has been directed by Ahmed Khan. Apart from this, Firoz-e Nadiadwala, Rakesh Dang, Vedant Vikas Bali and Paras Mehta are the producers of the film.
