This latest update makes cross platform sharing (i.e. Android to Apple ecosystem) easier. Till last year, this feature was exclusive only for Apple devices and Android users had to depend on third party apps for this work, but Pixel 10 series, Samsung, Oppo and now Xiaomi are trying to improve people’s experience by giving this feature to Android users.

Recall that Samsung had added AirDrop style file sharing feature to the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year. Oppo Find X9 series is also the first smartphone of the company to get Air Drop feature through Quick Share.
