Director Ahmed Khan On Shahid Kapoor: There is a decades-old friendship between film actor Shahid Kapoor and ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ director Ahmed Khan. Both are friends of each other since childhood. But a few years ago their relationship deteriorated. Now Ahmed Khan has talked about Shahid. He has said that they do not meet each other much anymore. He also talked about doing a film with both of them. He said that now if I go to Shahid with a script, there is only a fifty-fifty chance of him doing the work.
Ahmed Khan and Shahid are school friends. Ahmed had choreographed Shahid’s debut song ‘Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra’. Ahmed Khan also worked as a choreographer in Shahid’s first film ‘Ishq Vishk’. Both have known each other for about 30 years but in the year 2015 Shahid And Mira Rajput Kapoor was married. in that wedding Ahmed Khan Did not arrive, after which Shahid became very angry and refused to talk to Ahmed at an award function. Ahmed had also told that even when he fell ill due to vertigo attack, Shahid did not come to see him.
Now after years Ahmed Khan has shahid kapoor Have talked about the relationship. While talking to News18, he also told why both are not able to work together as director and actor. Ahmed says, “I had done Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra and Ishq Vishk as a choreographer. After this, I also directed her in a film named Fool and Final.”
When will Shahid Kapoor and Ahmed Khan work together?
Ahmed says, “After that I produced Paathshala, in which he was also in. But in the last few years, he has been doing a particular kind of films. On the other hand, I too am making a different kind of films, which I want to make.” On the question of working together again, he says, “We will work with each other when we come together.”
Ahmed said, “Once we both agree on the kind of films we want to do, we will do the film together. I know that if I had taken a script to him at that time, he would have said yes immediately. But at this point, the expectation is fifty fifty.”
Ahmed gets less time than Shahid
Ahmed says about his and Shahid’s relationship, “I mean, we don’t meet that much anymore. We are childhood friends. We became friends when I was 11 and he was 7. Our friendship started about 30 years ago. But this is the work and not many new friends come in it. You make many new people as friends, due to which you forget who is your true friend. Our lifestyle has changed now.
