Aggressive crowd, attack on uniform with sharp stones… Has the students’ movement in Delhi been hijacked?

The students’ movement at Jantar Mantar in Delhi is becoming more violent. There was a huge clash there yesterday i.e. Wednesday evening also. During this, five policemen including two ACPs were injured. After the uproar throughout the night, the police have once again taken charge. According to Delhi Police sources, now this protest has been completely hijacked by outside anti-social elements.

According to Delhi Police sources, anti-social elements in the guise of students enter the crowd and suddenly start attacking the people in uniform with sharp stones and bottles, then the entire crowd becomes aggressive. Extra paramilitary force has reported to Delhi Police.

Security increased at Jantar Mantar, police-RAF deployed

There is no order from the government for strict action yet, the government wants to find a way to negotiate with the students. Therefore, the forces are just saving their lives with great restraint. Strictly not giving any answer. At present, security has been increased at Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police and RAF have been deployed. Barricading has been done at many places. After last night’s uproar the situation has become absolutely tense.

Special CP reached the hospital to meet the injured policemen

Late night, Delhi Police’s Special CP (Law and Order) Zone-1 Devesh Chandra Srivastava reached Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital to inquire about the well being of the policemen injured during the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar yesterday evening. He met the injured policemen admitted in the hospital. To inquire about his well being and get information about his treatment from the doctors.

What did CJP Chief Abhijeet Dipke say?

On the other hand, Cockroach Janata Party’s Founding President Abhijeet Dipke said that I have already spoken about lathi charge. This was very cruel and we will take the police officers who did this to court. Today is the 34th day of our protest. Sonam sir’s hunger strike continues. Today is the 26th day of their hunger strike, so our protest will continue until our demands are met. But we are requesting Sonam sir to end her hunger strike because we cannot lose her life.

Dipke said that we have been sitting here for the last one month, during this period no incident took place. But now as this protest has become bigger, goons are being sent from outside by BJP. A deliberate attempt is being made to provoke and these same people are pelting stones. The police bring trucks of stones here. Goons throw stones here and cockroaches defame the people of Janata Party.
