Shiv Sena, which is recovering from the shock of the rebellion of Lok Sabha MPs, is going to face another big blow to UBT. After the merger of its six MPs with Shiv Sena, the possibility of Shinde losing his office in the Parliament House complex will also increase. After this development gets formal approval from Speaker Om Birla, only four MPs will be left in the Shiv Sena UBT parliamentary party, whereas normally only parties with five or more MPs get offices in the Parliament House complex.
Besides, its participation in all-party meetings called on important issues will also be questioned because generally parties with less than five MPs are not called in these meetings. Presently the office of the parliamentary party of Shiv Sena UBT is in room number 128 A of Sanvidhan Sadan (Old Parliament House). It is next to Office 128 of undivided Shiv Sena.
