Railways said that the booking of this salon coach was done through IRCTC on July 8. For this, the concerned party had made an advance payment of Rs 3 lakh 8 thousand 580 under commercial booking. This special coach was added to Paschim Express train number 12926 from New Delhi to Mumbai Central on July 10. Railways also clarified that safety rules were followed during this journey and there is no news of any untoward incident or accident.

Salon coaches are completely different from the coaches of ordinary trains. This can also be called a five star hotel running on track. Earlier these coaches were used only for inspection by senior railway officials, but now any common man can hire them.
