After Abhishek-Kalyan Banerjee, now another TMC MP on target, Bapi Haldar’s office vandalized

Recently, after Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee, MP Kalyan Banerjee was attacked. Due to which the politics of the state has heated up. This matter was not yet over when another MP Bapi Haldar became the victim of people’s anger. People vandalized his office extensively due to which the situation became very tense. People allege that relief material was not being delivered to the needy, while a large quantity of material was kept in the MP’s office.

According to the information, on Sunday evening, local people in Krishnachandrapur area of ​​Mathurapur in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
And a group of women from Self Help Group (SHG) attacked the office of Mathurapur MP Bapi Haldar. The mob broke the glass windows and sign boards of the office.

Protestors made serious allegations

During this, the protesters made serious allegations against MP Bapi Halder of being involved in corruption and irregularities in the area for a long time. He claimed that local people were threatened, false cases were registered against opponents and money allocated for self-help group beneficiaries was misused.

The protesting women said that many SHG beneficiaries were deprived of government benefits and financial assistance despite being eligible. He alleged that the funds allocated for them never reached the beneficiaries. He said that many eligible self-help group members could not get the benefits of government schemes and financial assistance even though they were fully eligible for it.

The mob vandalized the office

Along with this, the protesters also claimed that government relief material was kept in the MP’s party office. Angered by the irregularities, the mob entered the office premises and vandalized it. Local people alleged that protesters in the area have been intimidated and threatened for a long time and false cases were registered against them.

Police removed the crowd

Local people vandalized the party office of TMC MP Bapi Halder in Mathurapur in South 24 Parganas district on Sunday, alleging that flood relief material was kept there illegally, police said. The police somehow removed the people from there and
Controlled the situation. There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after the incident. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation. Police have increased security to control the situation.
