On the day of Krishna Janmashtami of Adhikamas, sunrise will be at 05.23 am. Brahma Muhurta will be from 04:02 am to 04:42 am. Abhijit Muhurta will be from 11:52 am to 12:48 pm. The evening auspicious time will be from 07:18 pm to 08:18 pm.
Monthly Krishna Janmashtami Puja Method (Masik Krishna Janmashtami Puja Vidhi)
Wake up early, take bath etc. and wear clean yellow colored clothes. Place a stool in the temple of the house and spread a red or yellow cloth over it. Install the statue of Lord Krishna at the post. Take a pledge to fast by taking water, flowers, basil leaves or sweets in your hand. Anoint the idol of Lord Krishna with Panchamrit and adorn it after dressing it in new clothes. Offer yellow fruits, flowers, sweets and sandalwood to Lord Krishna. Chant the mantra while lighting a ghee lamp. Conclude the puja by performing aarti. Break the fast after 12 midnight or after sunrise the next day after performing puja.
