
Another major arrest has been made in Maharashtra in NEET paper leak. CBI has arrested a woman named Manisha Sanjay Havildar who leaked Physics questions. Manisha was currently working in Seth Hiralal Surf Prashala, Pune. CBI has arrested him from Pune. NTA had appointed Manisha as an expert to conduct the paper.
Manisha Sanjay Havaldar had access to the Physics paper. Earlier, along with the arrested Manisha Mathre, she had leaked some questions of Physics. All these questions were tallied and it was found that all of them had appeared in the NEET paper. In this case, so far 11 accused have been arrested from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nashik, Latur and Ahilyangar.
What has CBI achieved so far?
In this case, CBI has also conducted searches at different places across the country, in which many objectionable documents, laptops, bank statements and mobile phones have been seized. Detailed analysis of the seized items is being done. Let us inform you that CBI had registered this case on the basis of written complaint given by the Education Ministry on May 12, which was related to the alleged paper leak of NEET-UG 2026 examination.
Custodial interrogation of several suspects
Soon after the case was registered, special teams were formed and searches were conducted across the country. Many suspects were taken into custody and interrogated. The investigation by special teams is ongoing and the investigation conducted so far has revealed the real source of the question paper leak. The middlemen who were involved in arranging for the students who paid lakhs of rupees to attend special coaching classes where the questions appearing in the examination were shared, have also been identified and arrested.
