ABVP’s National Executive Council meeting begins, welcomes CBSE’s three language policy

The National Executive Council meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) started in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The meeting was inaugurated by National President Prof. It was done by lighting the lamp by Raghuraj Kishore Tiwari, National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki and National Organization Minister Ashish Chauhan. Addressing the inaugural session of the National Executive Council meeting, ABVP National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki said, many important issues including education, global scenario, sports, environment, technology and other contemporary topics will be discussed in the National Executive Council meeting being held in Bhubaneswar.

The decision taken yesterday by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to fully implement the three-language policy is a positive step towards Indianisation of education and strengthening national integration. Considering the ever-increasing inter-state migration for employment and higher education across the country, knowledge of Indian languages ​​will prove more beneficial in shaping the future of the students. The flexible measures proposed by the Board to address the practical challenges faced during the transition period, such as availability of textbooks and shortage of teachers, are commendable.

Examination should be conducted on three-language policy

ABVP believes that along with the study of languages, board examinations should also be conducted in accordance with the three-language framework, so that this policy can be implemented more effectively. In this meeting, there will be detailed discussion on various aspects of effective implementation of National Education Policy, promotion of Indian languages ​​and three-language policy.

Certainly, after its implementation, this policy will prove to be a milestone in the direction of strengthening Indian languages ​​and preserving the linguistic diversity of the country. ABVP sees this initiative as an important means of bringing qualitative change in education and strengthening national integration. Necessary suggestions and future action plan related to this subject will also be discussed in the meeting.
