Haider Ali Khan is the son of Aamir’s father from his second wife. Today he is going through very bad situations. His wife Eva has talked about this in an interview. Eva also told how she had married Haider quietly. When they met, after just 19 days, Haider proposed marriage to her and both of them soon decided to live together, but this marriage ended on a very bad note. The actress has moved ahead in her life, but Haider Ali Khan is now living in worse conditions.
Haider is facing trouble
Aamir Khan’s step brother Haider is facing problems ranging from food to accommodation. Speaking to PTI, Eva said, “Today Haider’s condition is not good. He has no home and struggles to even eat. Sometimes someone lets him stay in a chawl, sometimes a friend helps him. I feel sad. Whatever happened, happened, but in human terms, he was once my husband.”
While talking in the interview, she further said, “He (Haider) is surrounded by people who keep giving him alcohol. There is no one to take care of him. I just pray that whenever his time comes, he finds peace. He has suffered a lot.”
Haider was suffering from schizophrenia
Eva also remembered the very bad times of her marriage and claimed in this interview that Haider was suffering from schizophrenia. On the third day of their marriage, they saw their first form of violence. Along with this, he also told that Haider beat him. His condition deteriorated due to excessive drinking and increasing depression after leaving his job and taking up acting.
Eva also said, “I used to get bruises. I used to get very scared. My father-in-law and mother-in-law tried to console him. They even cried in front of him and started asking him why he was behaving like this. He used to have thoughts in his mind which were not there in reality.” He also told that despite all these things, he maintained this marriage for 5 years, believing that one day everything will be fine. Along with this, she also told that she could not meet her daughter for almost 10 years.
