President Draupadi Murmu Documentary: ‘Partition 1947’, being produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, is going to hit the theaters soon, the teaser of which was released recently. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is coming up with another big project. But this is not going to be a film based on action or partition, but a documentary. There is news that Aamir Khan’s production house is making a documentary on President Draupadi Murmu, that is, the wonderful journey of Draupadi Murmu will be brought on the big screen.
Amidst ‘Partition 1947’, Aamir Khan has decided to make a documentary on the life of Indian President Draupadi Murmu. The direction of this film will be handled by Swati Chakraborty Bhatkal, who has made documentaries like ‘Rubaru Roshni’. It is reported that the shooting of this documentary has already started.
Documentary on Draupadi Murmu
According to a report in Variety India, Aamir Khan Productions is working on a documentary based on the life and journey of President Draupadi Murmu. This project will be directed by filmmaker and writer Swati Chakraborty Bhatkal. This documentary will show the amazing journey in which Murmu became the President of India from a small village in Odisha. It is being told that this documentary will show important stages of Draupadi Murmu’s personal and professional life. However, confirmation is still pending from the makers and if the news is confirmed, then this will be another real life based story of Aamir Khan Productions.
Shooting has started
If reports are to be believed, some parts of this documentary have already been shot in Murmu’s native village in Odisha. It is being told that the makers have recreated the important moments of his early life and have cast local actors to show different stages of his journey. Aamir Khan Productions and Swati Chakraborty Bhatkal will work together once again through this documentary. Swati had previously directed ‘Rubaru Roshni’, a 2019 documentary anthology produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
