Aamir Khan and Twinkle Khanna: Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most popular couples of Bollywood. Both of them dated each other for some time, after which both of them got married in 2001. It is said that at that time Twinkle Khanna was so infatuated with Akshay Kumar that she kept thinking about him even on the sets of the 2000 film ‘Mela’. Because of this, Aamir Khan once got so enraged that he was about to slap her. Twinkle Khanna had mentioned this during the launch of her book ‘Mrs Funnybones’ in 2015.
An old interview of Twinkle Khanna is going viral, in which the actress shared that because of thinking about her husband Akshay Kumar on the sets of ‘Mela’. Aamir Almost ‘slapped’ him. This was because she was thinking about Akshay and was not able to concentrate on the shoot, due to which Aamir Khan got very angry.
Why did Aamir Khan get angry?
In a conversation, filmmaker Karan Johar asked Aamir Khan, “How was your experience with Twinkle? Did you ever feel that she is a good actress?” When the actor was thinking of his answer, Twinkle interrupted, “No, no. Once he asked me, ‘What are you doing? Why are you behaving like this? You are not even concentrating on work.’ I said, ‘I am thinking about Akshay.’ He almost slapped me. I still remember that we were outside somewhere.”

“He always insulted me”
Aamir Khan asked, “Did I do that? No,” and Twinkle immediately replied, “Yes.” Then he said, “I would not have given such a reaction.” Twinkle replied, “Yes, you just made a face.” When Karan asked whether Aamir considered Twinkle a good actor, he said, “I found her amazing. We all have different abilities, that’s what I mean. And Twinkle is an expert in some really amazing things, like insulting people. She’s an expert in insulting people. She’s always insulted me since I’ve known her.”
