Hardoi Railway News: A major accident was averted on the Sitapur-Balamau railway line in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. A young man under the influence of alcohol fell directly under a moving train between Atwa Muthia and Kamalpur railway stations. The young man’s life was saved due to the train driver’s timely alertness and application of emergency brakes. The video of this entire incident is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man was under the influence of alcohol and lost control near the tracks and fell directly under the wheels of the train. The loco pilot’s eyes fell on the back mirror of the train and without wasting a second he immediately applied emergency brakes.
As soon as the train stopped, railway employees and local villagers together, with great effort, pulled the young man out safely from under the engine/coaches.

As soon as the video of the incident came on the internet, people were praising the promptness and quick decision making ability of the loco pilot. People are giving different types of reactions on the video. Many users sarcastically wrote, “Don’t get so drunk that the train has to stop for you.”

However, this incident is also a serious warning that intoxication or carelessness around the tracks can prove fatal. This time luck and the promptness of the loco pilot saved the young man’s life.
