Bahraich Viral Video: Such a sad and horrifying news has come out from Tikuri village of Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked the entire area. Here a ferocious crocodile suddenly came into the Ghaghra river and made 12 year old innocent Sunil its victim. The most heartbreaking thing is that the child’s uncle fought a life and death battle with the crocodile for 8 minutes to save him, but he could not save his nephew. The emotional video of this entire incident and the subsequent mourning of the family is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
When the mutilated body of innocent Sunil reached the postmortem house on Friday afternoon, his uncle Vijay Raj Singh was in a bad state, crying. He narrated the story of that dreadful scene in a hoarse voice. Late Thursday evening, Sunil was returning home with his uncles Vijay Raj Singh and Uday Raj Singh after planting paddy in the field. On the way, as soon as Sunil reached the water of Ghaghra river to wash his hands and feet, the crocodile sitting in ambush in the water came secretly and caught him.
As soon as he heard Sunil’s scream, his uncle Vijay Raj jumped into the river without caring for his life. They tried their best to pull Sunil from the crocodile’s jaws for about 7 to 8 minutes, but they became helpless in front of the power of the animal. The crocodile took the child into deep water and threw him in the air 3 to 4 times. Crying, Vijay Raj told that the crocodile had devoured half of the child’s body before he could see it.
Dead body found in mutilated condition after 3 hours of search
As soon as information about the incident was received, there was a stir in the village. According to villager Arvind Srivastava, the crocodile would occasionally come above the water holding the child in its mouth and then go down. The villagers gathered courage and started searching in the river with the help of big bamboo sticks. Meanwhile, teams of local police, forest department and NDRF also reached the spot. After about 3 hours of hard work, Sunil’s mutilated body was found floating in water at a distance of about 300 meters from the spot. The villagers pulled out the body with a net, which the police sent for postmortem on Friday morning. His last rites were performed in a sad atmosphere in the evening.
Sisters wept over the death of their orphan brother, everyone’s eyes became moist.
This accident has completely ruined a smiling orphan family. Sunil’s father Budhraj had died 5 years ago and his mother 7 years ago due to illness. Sunil was the second among four siblings and was supporting the family by living with his uncle. As soon as the dead body was brought home, the sisters started crying bitterly. She was repeatedly caressing the sheet in which Sunil’s body was wrapped. Seeing this scene of innocent sisters crying while clinging to the last remains of their brother (sheet), every person present there shed tears. Now apart from Suman and Seema, only younger brother Sanjay (10) is left in the house.
