Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has questioned the silence of the Rekha Gupta government on the drug scam of Rs 650 crore. He said that Rekha Gupta government had committed a drug scam of Rs 650 crore, yet why is there dead silence all around? But when a false case was registered against the AAP government, there was a debate ranging from resignation to hanging the AAP leaders, while the court honorably acquitted them all. In such a situation, should the scam of Rekha Gupta government not be discussed?
Sanjay Singh Said that the BJP government of 4th engine purchased 16 lakh bed sheets for 15 thousand beds. That means 111 sheets were purchased for one bed. To feed the people of Delhi, Rekha Gupta government bought ORS packets worth Rs 2.5 for Rs 15. A total of ORS packets worth Rs 7.5 crore were purchased. The biggest scam was in the purchase of medicines.
AAP’s attack on BJP government
He said that medicines worth Rs 400 crore were purchased from a local chemist, in which commission of Rs 300 crore was lost. He questioned that during the AAP government, police used to file FIR and then ED would reach it, but now they too are nowhere to be found. All the engines of BJP are immersed in corruption, but neither any minister is being arrested nor anyone is resigning.
In a press conference at the AAP headquarters on Saturday, the party’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that a huge scam has taken place in the health department in the government of Rekha Gupta in Delhi, where the health minister is Dr Pankaj Singh. This is a health scam of Rs 650 crore. This scam has taken place in medicines, ORS packets, X-ray machines, all radiology equipments, purchase of bedsheets and medicines given to patients in hospitals.
Sanjay Singh said that no one is asking questions to the government. Neither the double engine government of BJP is being discussed, nor the Rekha Gupta government and her health minister is being discussed, nor is the name of BJP coming anywhere. It is a very strange case that whenever BJP does any corruption, the system becomes guilty.
Big allegation of drug scam worth Rs 650 crore
Sanjay Singh said that the first mistake made by Rekha Gupta’s government was that Dr. Vatsala Aggarwal was made the Director General of Health of Delhi i.e. DGHS, ignoring all the rules and regulations, bypassing 10 senior doctors. While investigation was going on against him in the case of admission to cancer hospital. After Dr. Vatsala Aggarwal became DGHS, Rekha Gupta government and the health department together started this game of loot.
Sanjay Singh said that Aam Aadmi Party will not spare or release him on corruption worth Rs 650 crore. We will go to every street and wake up people that the reason why people are not getting medicines in government hospitals today is because the double engine government of Modi-Rekha has eaten the brokerage of Rs 300 crore. These people of Chanda Chor Party are eating everything including schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, bridges, aeroplanes, coal, gas. Now Delhi’s medicines, X-ray machines and even the bedsheets laid in hospitals are being consumed.
