Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena suffered a major setback in Maharashtra on Monday. Six MPs Sanjay Haribhau Jadhav, Bhausaheb Rajaram Wakchore, Omprakash Bhupalsingh Nimbalkar, Sanjay Dina Patil, Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh and Nagesh Bapurao Patil Ashtikar joined Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde.
On the occasion of six MPs joining the party, Eknath Shinde said, ‘I did this so that no questions remain in your mind. What’s going on in some media? Omraje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Vakchore, Sanjay Dina Patil, Sanjay Bandu Jadhav, Sanjay Deshmukh and Nagesh Ashtikar are joining.
He said that Sanjay is the same thrice. We have three Sanjays. There is also a fourth Sanjay Rathod. There are many Sanjays. So there is no need to tell who else I am talking about. Since there is the same Sanjay three times, no one has been counted.
Shinde said, ‘Shiv Sena is a family. It really is a family. The staunch Shiv Sainik MP has joined the real Shiv Sena family, the Shiv Sena family with Balasaheb’s ideas. I welcome him to the party.

He said that four years ago, on June 22, 2022, we saw the rebellion of Shiv Sena. Then initially 40 MLAs had come. After that, again not fours but sixes. There was a flurry of sixes. Earlier, in 2022, we had rebelled to save the Shiv Sena party, to save Dhanush-Baan, to save the ideas of Balasaheb. This second phase has started. Our fight is for Balasaheb’s ideas. This is for the ideas of Hindutva.
On Shiv Sena’s 6 rebel UBT MPs joining Shinde camp today, Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar said that it is a matter of great happiness for us. Very good work is being done at the Center under the leadership of PM Modi and Amit Shah; If NDA is strong, the country will also be strong. This is a democratic process which he has followed.
He said that he has formed his own separate group, and if he joins it, then NDA will definitely become stronger, and Mahayuti will also become stronger in Maharashtra.
