
Saturday (23) was a very special day for the youth waiting for government jobs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today handed over appointment letters to more than 51 thousand youth in the 19th Employment Fair. Since the beginning of the Employment Fair, about 12 lakh appointment letters have been issued through 18 such events organized across the country.
In the 19th employment fair on Saturday, PM handed over appointment letters of government jobs to 51 thousand youth through digital medium. During this, while addressing the program, the PM said, ‘Today is a very important day for thousands of youth across the country. Today more than 51,000 youth have received appointment letters for government jobs.
Mention of trip to five countries
In his address, the PM also mentioned his 5 recent visits. He said, ‘I have returned from a trip to five countries only two days ago. It was a trip to only five countries, but during this time I spoke, had detailed discussions and met with leaders of major companies from dozens of countries, and I realized one thing in common everywhere. The world is very excited about the youth of India and the technological progress of India. Today the world wants to be a part of India’s development path. India is also partnering with various countries around the world. I want the youth of my country to get global experience.

Discussion took place on various issues
The PM said that during his visit to Netherlands, semiconductors, water, agriculture and advanced manufacturing were discussed. In Sweden, many discussions were held on cooperation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation. Along with this, discussions on green technology and maritime cooperation have advanced with Norway. Important agreements were signed with UAE on strategic, energy and technology partnership. At the same time, agreements were signed with Italy on partnership in important areas like defence, important minerals and science and technology. He said that the youth of India will directly benefit from all these agreements.
‘The world wants to be a part of India’s development journey’
The PM said that today the whole world wants to be a part of India’s development journey. India is also partnering with various countries around the world. He said that I also want the youth of my country to get global experience. He said that all the youth getting jobs today are becoming important partners in the path of development of the country. He said that all these youth are ready to take up new responsibilities in railways, banking, defence, health, education and many other sectors. He said that in the coming years, all of you will play an important role in fulfilling the resolve of a developed India.

PM Modi said that the youth of India are playing an important role in accelerating the journey of developed India. He said that the employment fair shows the commitment of our government towards providing new opportunities to the youth power. He said that the world is very excited about India’s youth and the country’s progress in the field of technology. He said that today the world wants to become a partner in India’s development journey.
Till now 12 lakh appointment letters have been issued
‘Rojgar Mela’ is a big initiative of the government. So far, 12 lakh appointment letters have been issued through this initiative. So far 18 job fairs have been organized across the country. On Saturday, employment fair was organized at 47 places across the country.
These youth selected from across the country will join different ministries and departments of the Government of India. These include Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Department of Higher Education and other departments.
