$300 billion in aid and relaxation in sanctions…what did Iran get in the deal?

A preliminary agreement has been agreed to end the war that has been going on for almost four months between America and Iran. Under this agreement, Iran is said to be getting many big reliefs. However, all the points of the agreement have not been officially confirmed yet. Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency has given information about the 14-point proposal.

According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, America and its allies will provide $300 billion in aid for the reconstruction of Iran. Apart from this, 24 billion dollars of Iran stuck abroad will also be released. According to Mehr News, a large part of this amount can be given to Iran even before the final negotiations begin. The draft also says that sanctions on Iranian oil and energy sector will be removed. With this, Iran will again be able to sell oil openly to the countries of the world and its earnings will increase.

Here, Britain, France, Germany and Italy have also said that they are ready to provide relief in sanctions if Iran follows the conditions set for its nuclear program.

1. Under the agreement, America will lift the naval blockade on Iran’s ports within 30 days. In return, Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz for ships.
2. The draft also includes that America will not interfere in Iran’s internal affairs, will not increase its military presence around Iran and will not impose new sanctions during the talks.
3. According to Mehr News, Iran has set the condition that final and formal talks will begin only if at least half of its frozen assets are released, oil sanctions are relieved and the US naval blockade is lifted.
4. The report also says that efforts will be made to get the final agreement approved through a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution.

Stuck in many big issues

However, many big issues have not been completely resolved yet. America wants Iran to accept strict control on nuclear activities for a long time, while Iran wants relief from sanctions and return of its entire stuck money. Therefore, the talks in the coming 60 days are considered very important for both the countries.
