The real list of how much American weapons were lost in the Iran war has come to light. According to a report by the US Congress, 17 Pentagon aircraft were either completely destroyed or damaged in the 40-day war with Iran. F-35 aircraft was also included in these. 3 planes were shot down by Kuwait by mistake.
Apart from this, 24 MQ-9 drones were also lost. Not only this, during the war, Iran destroyed many American military bases located in the Gulf. It may cost America 2-3 billion dollars to prepare these bases.
Iran shot down these planes
America forwarded its air force and carried out air strikes in Iran. During this time, America, along with Israel, also assassinated the Supreme Leader of Iran. However, Iran in retaliation destroyed many of its big planes.
According to the report, Iran’s response included four F-15E Strike Eagle fighter aircraft, one F-35A Lightning II fighter aircraft, one A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, seven KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, one E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft, two MC-130J Commando II special operations aircraft, one HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter, 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones. And one MQ-4C Triton drone was destroyed.
During the war, two American airmen were also trapped on Iranian soil, but America Rescued him. During this rescue, two of his helicopters were destroyed.
Expenditure of more than 29 billion dollars
The Pentagon had recently given a statement in front of the US Senate. It said that we have spent 29 billion dollars in the Iran war. According to CNN, wastage of weapons has not been included in this expenditure. According to American media, the Pentagon has spent more than 100 billion dollars in the Iran war.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Fox News that there is no need for debate on spending. Because, if Iran makes nuclear weapons then you cannot stop it by doing anything.
