Assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. Political activity regarding this has already started intensifying. Political parties are busy making their own strategies. In such a situation, Congress has prepared a masterplan for victory. Sources say that there are chances of an alliance between Congress and SP for the upcoming assembly elections. In view of this, Congress wants to complete its preparations before seat sharing, so that it can present its position strongly on the negotiating table.
For this, Congress has conducted a survey regarding UP. Under this survey, 160 seats have been sorted according to the party. These seats have been divided into three categories. Category A contains those seats where the party feels that it has a strong chance of winning. After this, in Category B are those seats, where the alliance with SP and the social equation fits.
Which seats are in Category-C of Congress?
After this comes the third i.e. Category C, in which there are weak seats for both Congress and Samajwadi Party, on which both the parties have been in a weak position in the last elections. Congress is prepared that when there is a discussion regarding coordination of seats, it should talk keeping complete data of figures, social equation and ground reality.
This plan for big and small districts?
Actually, Congress wants its presence to be registered in the entire state. Therefore, she wants to contest at least two seats in every big district of the state and one seat in each small district. At the same time, she wants more seats in Amethi-Rae Bareli and the seats of her MPs. In the Lok Sabha elections, Akhilesh finally gave 17 seats to Congress which had demanded 37 seats, out of which it won 6. In such a situation, there is bound to be a heated argument between the two parties at the negotiating table for the assembly elections.
What is Akhilesh Yadav’s plan?
The SP chief is continuously busy in invigorating the workers and the organization. Along with his preparations, he is also telling his colleagues that SP is the only party in the state which can compete with BJP. In this context, the past few days had given a big statement. Akhilesh had said that the party has prepared organizations and workers on all the seats in the state. Akhilesh also gave another big message. He had said that whichever party fights together in the alliance, it will get the benefit of the strong organization of the Samajwadi Party. Their slogan is- “It is not about seat, it is about victory”.
