11 crore spent on security and 10 crore spent on flag hoisting program… Where was the donation received for Ram temple spent?

After the Ayodhya Ram Temple offering theft case came to light, the first meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was held on Monday 6th July. In this, detailed details of the temple’s income, expenses and properties were made public. The trust was established in 2020. According to official figures, in the six years since then, the temple has received donations and offerings worth Rs 3,846 crore. This includes donations worth Rs 3,264 crore and offerings worth Rs 582 crore. Construction, operation and other development works of the temple have also been done with this money.

Here, Ram Mandir Trust spent Rs 91.76 crore in one year (FY 2025-26) from Prasad to security. Of these, Rs 12.85 crore was spent on Bhog Prasad and puja, Rs 11.49 crore on security, Rs 10.48 crore on temple flag hoisting programme. While Rs 4.43 crore was spent on locker facility and Rs 2.05 crore was spent on shoe rack facility. Apart from this, Rs 2.22 crore has been spent on office and administrative expenses. Donation and construction data

According to the data released by the Trust, funds have been received through two main means for the construction and operation of the temple till March 31, 2026. First- Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan and Corpus Fund, second- Regular offerings made by the devotees in the temple.

  • Fund Surrender and Corpus Donation: From this the Trust got a total of Rs 3,264 crore.
  • Construction and Expenses: Out of Rs 3,264 crore, an amount of Rs 2,370 crore has been spent so far on the construction of the temple and other works.
  • Total Offering (donation box and other means): From the beginning of the temple till 31 March 2026, Ramlala received a total offering of Rs 582 crore.
  • Operational Expenses: Out of the offerings of Rs 582 crore received, an amount of Rs 391 crore has been spent in the operation of the temple. The remaining amount has been kept safe in bank accounts.

Detailed information of income and expenditure (FY 2025 to 26)

According to the financial details from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, the income and expenditure of the Trust in this one year is huge. It has not been audited yet. Let us know what the account of income and expenditure of the trust says.

1. Total Income: The trust has earned a total income of Rs 250.04 crore.

  1. Voluntary Contribution: A total of Rs 98.24 crore was received.
  2. From donation characters (cache): Rs 66.55 crore received.
  3. From donation counters: Donation of Rs 21.05 crore came.
  4. Through Online: Rs 9.70 crores were received.
  5. Foreign Exchange (FCRA): Rs 0.94 crore received.
  6. Income from Interest: The Trust has received interest of Rs 151.80 crore from the amount deposited in banks.

2. Capital Expenditure: The Trust has made a total capital expenditure of Rs 422.74 crore in this financial year.

  • Temple and its associated constructions: Maximum Rs 375.40 crore was spent on temple construction works.
  • Purchase of land: For the expansion of the temple area, 1.12 lakh square feet (2.57 acres) of land was purchased through 14 registries, on which Rs 20.16 crore (total expenditure Rs 21.53 crore) was spent.
  • Canopy Manufacturing by Larsen & Toubro (L&T): Rs 9.81 crore was spent on this work.
  • Other construction works: Rs 4.83 crore was spent on the Yatri Welcome Centre, Rs 2.76 crore was spent on the dormitory near Ram Niwas and Rs 2.70 crore was spent on construction at Bagh Bijesi.

3. Revenue/operational expenses: A total of Rs 91.76 crore was spent on the daily operations, security and festivals of the temple.

  • Bhog Prasad and Pooja: Rs 12.85 crore.
  • security services: Rs 11.49 crore.
  • Temple Dhwarajahoran Program: Rs 10.48 crore.
  • Food sector (food system): Rs 9.26 crore.
  • Temple Operation and Maintenance: Rs 8.98 crore.
  • Locker facility: Rs 4.43 crore.
  • Cleaning and Housekeeping: Rs 4.91 crore.
  • Electricity: Rs 4.41 crore.
  • Employee Benefit Expense: Rs 2.59 crore.
  • Office and administrative expenses: Rs 2.22 crore.
  • Shoe Rack Feature: Rs 2.05 crore.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Rs 2.45 crore.
  • Devotee Welfare Activities: Rs 1.39 crore.
  • Spending on special events: Rs 1.84 crore.

How many valuable things like gold and silver were found?

Apart from cash, devotees have also presented valuable items in large quantities to Ramlala. According to the records of the trust, a total of 2,926 items have been received as gifts, which are physically verified by a chartered accountant every year.

  • Silver: Till March 31, 2026, the Trust received a total of 669.653 kg of silver items. After smelting and refining at the Government of India Mint (SPMCIL), 43 silver bricks (weighing 849.272 kg) of 99.99% purity were obtained. Thus, a total of 1,518.925 kg of silver is secured with the Trust.
  • Sleep: Till March 31, 2026, the Trust has received a total of 32.259 kg of gold items. These precious metals have been melted into rods and kept safe in the bank locker.

How much money is currently in the trust’s bank?

Even after spending on construction work and events, the financial position of the Trust is very strong. As of March 31, 2026, the Trust has a total fund of Rs 1,876.30 crore deposited in different bank accounts.

  • SBI Fixed Deposit: Rs 791.04 crore.
  • PNB Fixed Deposit: Rs 652.88 crore.
  • Bank of Baroda (BOB) Fixed Deposit: Rs 327.30 crore.
  • Mutual fund investment: Rs 87.00 crore.
  • Auto sweep and savings accounts: Rs 10.87 crore and Rs 4.77 crore respectively.
  • FCRA Bank Balance: Rs 1.67 crore.
