10k Step routine: What happens to the body by walking 10k steps daily? Expert told

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh (Scientist, AIIMS, New Delhi) It is said that walking affects the cellular and organ system level of our body. Because of this, positive effects are seen in our health.

Walking improves blood flow in our muscles and other organs. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness trainer Siddharth Singh shared information regarding this in his Instagram post. Let us tell you what changes occur in our body by doing this daily.

Doctor Rakesh says that most of the muscles in our body are in the legs, so walking more throughout the day is a way to maintain healthy blood sugar levels. Because this helps the muscles better in absorbing glucose. Maintaining proper blood sugar level reduces the production of triglyceride in the liver.

Regular physical activity has a positive effect on overall health. This activity helps a lot in maintaining weight or preventing it from increasing. Blood sugar, blood pressure and fat can be improved.

These changes are visible in the body

First week- feeling pain in the body

Trainer Siddharth says that it takes a week to adopt this routine. Initially, muscle pain, mild irritation and some disturbance in daily routine may be felt. But gradually your body starts adapting to it.

Second week- Good digestion and feeling of lightness.

Trainers say that when you join another VK, things seem to change. In such a situation, the stiffness in the body starts reducing and you start feeling relaxed. During this period, digestion feels better and different energy is felt in the body.

Third week- feeling energetic

According to Siddharth, our body adapts to it in the third week. In such a situation, the body starts remaining energetic because there is less feeling of lethargy throughout the day. It has many benefits which include improving our mood. Stress starts reducing because you start feeling calm. In this condition, one starts getting better sleep.

After one month – difference in weight management

When you follow this routine for the fourth consecutive week, you start seeing a difference in weight management. As the energy in our body becomes stable, we start feeling lightness. The biggest benefit is that body weight starts being maintained. People start thinking about the benefits of walking 10 thousand steps for a day or two. Experts say that walking 10 thousand steps does not make any difference overnight. For this it is important to follow the routine.
