You people are showing filth, ugliness and garbage… Kangana got angry at the protesters at Jantar Mantar.

July 28, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Film actress and MP Kangana Ranaut has given a sharp reaction to the behavior of protesters and Gen Z people at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Kangana described the language, style and visuals of the reels featuring these Gen Z protesters as “puke-inducing”, “crass” and “jarring”, and raised questions about their parenting style.

Kangana also compared the behavior of these protesters with the real heritage of India. He described India as a country “full of elegance and steeped in cultural maturity”.

‘These reels of GenZ protest are nauseating’

Taking aim at the protesters who jokingly or sarcastically call themselves “cockroaches” (a reference to the Cockroach Janata Party movement), she says they are actually behaving like them and showing their “filth, garbage and ugliness” to the world. She finally says that she was scarred after seeing these videos on social media and to overcome this, she needs a “digital detox” i.e. distance from social media.

In her post on Insta, she says, “So much ugliness has been seen in one place, these reels of GenZ protests are nauseating, the way they speak and the language they are using, I have never in my life seen everything so strange and so gross in every frame. Eee… who is creating and raising them?”

‘These people are showing filth, garbage and ugliness’

“India is a place of diverse, beautiful people, wrapped in elegance and cultural sophistication, you call yourself a cockroach and look or behave like one, there is no paradox or comparison, just showing the world your filth, garbage and ugliness.” She says, “I am very sad with these reels, I need some healing and digital detox.”

Kangana Ranaut’s post

Kangana Ranaut, through another post, described the behavior of young Hindu women as extremely “shocking”. He argues that they are trying to mimic the lifestyle of independent working women without actually doing the hard work.

Self-reliant women do not become a burden on their parents

She says that women who are truly self-reliant take bold decisions, stand on their own feet and take full responsibility for their actions without becoming a burden on their parents. He has called this new generation of women influenced by western culture as “Generation Gutter”. According to him, these women are neither good at studies nor capable of managing a household.

Kangana alleged that these women, living on the money of their parents, indulge in alcohol, drugs and pretend to be independent and claim to live an independent life without any responsibility. In the end she says that freedom is earned, and people claiming freedom without accountability are just “gutter prints”.
