
Commonwealth Games 2026 India Schedule, Day 6: On the sixth day of the ongoing 23rd Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, India will aim to further increase its medal tally. On the sixth day, there are 4 gold medal matches, in which Indian athletes can prove their mettle. Out of these, two events are of weightlifting only. The remaining two athletics events will be held. Earlier, on the 5th day, India won 6 medals one after the other, which included one gold.
India’s gold medal event on 28th July
Before telling what will be the complete schedule of Indian players in the Commonwealth Games 2026 on 28th July, let us take a look at India’s gold medal event to be held on the sixth day and its timing as per Indian time.
- Nirupama Devi- Women 63 KG- Weightlifting- 6:30 PM
- Harjinder Kaur- Women 69 KG- Weightlifting- 11:00 PM
- Pooja Singh- Women’s High Jump- Athletics- 11:35 PM
- Gulveer Singh- Men’s 10000m Final- Athletics- 12:55 AM (29 July)
The adventure of Chhath day will start with these events
India’s medal events will start in the evening Indian time. But the movement of Indian players will start visible from 3 pm itself. On the sixth day, athletics will be the sport in which Indian players will be seen first. India’s Rashdeep Kaur, Neeru Pathak and Ansha Babu will run in their respective heats in the women’s 400 meters race at 3 pm. There will also be a men’s 400 meter race, in the heat of which India’s Rakesh Ramesh will be seen running at 4:30 pm.
Swimming heats will start at 3:45 pm and will continue till 5 pm. During this, Sajan Prakash will show his strength in the heat of 50 meter butterfly. Apart from them, Srihari Nataraj will show his strength in 100 meter backstroke.
Can get medal in para swimming
In Para Swimming, the heats of Men’s 50 meter Free Style S13 will be held at 4.57 pm. If India’s Ravi Veera qualifies, he will be a gold medal hope for India in the final of this event starting at 11.42 pm.
