Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the NDA meeting at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on Wednesday. During this, PM Modi said that the poor of 2014 is today’s new middle class. We will not let the new middle class disappoint. They will be developed in every way. PM Modi said that for me the public is the form of God. I consider this my greatest good fortune.
PM Modi said that after the betrayal of Congress, people expressed confidence in him. After this trust, the sun of hope arose in 2014. The PM said that today a major success of the 12-year tenure of the NDA is that the country has become free from the web of Congress’s tactics. Congress had pushed the country into the abyss of helplessness, poverty and inferiority complex. At that time it was common knowledge that the pace of development in India would remain slow. That means rapid development is impossible.
PM Modi said that Congress had cleverly named it ‘Hindu Growth Rate’. That is, the way of working was of Congress, the responsibility was of Congress and the reason for failure was also Congress, yet the blame for this was put on the huge Hindu population of the country. PM Modi said that actually, this wrong trend should have been named ‘Congress Growth Rate’. In this ‘Congress Growth Rate’ there was neither good governance, nor right policies, nor true intentions nor the courage to take any concrete steps.
PM Modi said that when the NDA government came to power under the leadership of Atal ji, we got a glimpse of the pace of development picking up. But alas, in 2004 the country once again came under the grip of instability and Congress. Instead of promoting development, Congress entangled the country in several scams worth thousands of crores of rupees. The fate of the country changed when the NDA government was formed in 2014. The country saw the real pace of development when the intentions, policies and decision making process. Everyone started working together.
Same achievement of every component party of NDA
PM Modi said, “On this occasion, the members of the NDA family have also presented a proposal. This is the sincerity and generosity of all of you because I do not consider this visit as my personal achievement. This is a collective achievement of all of us from every point of view. This is an equal achievement of every constituent party of the NDA. Therefore, I dedicate this proposal to all of you, to all the workers of our NDA family including the BJP.”
