Will America enter Iran and snatch uranium? The most dangerous secret plan of Trump-Netanyahu!

June 10, 2026 by Uma Shankar

That night of June 2025, when America’s seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers dropped fourteen devastating bunker-buster bombs on Iran’s Fordow and Natanz nuclear centers. Reports of American intelligence agencies say that Iran’s 440 kg of enriched uranium hidden in the depths of the mountains is still safe. When the American bombs failed, now the same dangerous plan is echoing in the closed rooms of Washington and Jerusalem.

To forcibly snatch uranium by landing American and Israeli special forces inside Iran. Is Donald Trump going to turn again in Iran that most dangerous page of history, which was once carried out in Kazakhstan?

What kind of strategy is being made?

At present, the ongoing tension in the Middle East has reached a point from which there is no return. US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have pointed towards a very scary and surprising strategy.

The strategy is to land our forces directly in Iran’s nuclear sites with ‘boots on the ground’ and forcefully take out the uranium that has come close to weapons grade. America clearly says that whether the solution is found through talks or war, they will not let Iran remain with uranium.

Trump’s threat and failure of bunker buster bombs

The recent statement of US President Donald Trump confirms that he is adamant on burying Iran’s nuclear program forever. Trump has simply warned that if there is no diplomatic agreement with Iran, the US military will take extremely brutal military action and either destroy Iran’s nuclear equipment and enriched uranium on-site or take it away.

Additionally, Trump also claimed that the US Space Force is monitoring Iran’s nuclear sites 24 hours a day and anyone who goes close to them will be blown out of the sky. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took a more aggressive stance in the famous American show ’60 Minutes’ and said that the best way to get Iran’s uranium is to go in and take it out.

In fact, this compulsion of American and Israeli strategists has arisen because ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’, conducted in June 2025, had failed miserably, in which seven B-2 stealth bombers of the US Air Force fired 14 huge MOP GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs, but they failed to completely penetrate the mountains of Iran.

According to the US Intelligence Department, Iran currently has more than 440 kilograms of uranium, which is up to 60 percent pure, and this quantity is enough to make more than 10 nuclear weapons, which is kept hidden in highly secure locations like Isfahan.

When America launched ‘Operation Alsos’

Entering another country and seizing nuclear material is not a new thing for the political circles of Washington and military analysts of the Pentagon. America has carried out many such intelligence and semi-intelligence operations in the last eight decades.

It started during the Second World War, in the year 1944-1945, which was named ‘Operation Alsos’. At that time, both the Allied Forces i.e. the Western Allies and the Red Army of the Soviet Union were rapidly moving towards Berlin. There was a competition between the two as to who would capture the capital of Nazi Germany first?

Because whoever arrived first, would have got the first rights on Adolf Hitler’s secret nuclear program, his top scientists and uranium reserves. American General Leslie Groves, who was the head of the Manhattan Project, had clearly said that American soldiers would have to reach these nuclear centers first. Because America wanted to take control of this technology at all costs.

On February 24, 1945, under the Alsos Mission, American spies, scientists and soldiers entered Germany and before the arrival of the Soviet Army, seized more than 1100 tons of uranium ore, prototype reactors and thousands of research documents from a salt mine near Stassfurt, which the US later used to complete its Manhattan Project and drop the atomic bomb on Japan.

Secret withdrawal of 600 kg uranium from Kazakhstan

The second and most relevant example in history came after the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991, when the world was facing the greatest threat of theft of nuclear weapons. About 600 kilograms of highly enriched uranium was lying unclaimed at the Ulba Metallurgical Plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, from which at least two dozen nuclear bombs could be made.

America feared that this uranium might fall into the hands of countries like Iran or North Korea. To avert this nuclear threat, the then American administration prepared a very secret mission which was named – ‘Project Sapphire’.

Under this, a ‘Nuclear Emergency Search Team’ consisting of 31 members was sent to Kazakhstan in a very secret manner through a huge C-5 Galaxy aircraft. During the bitterly cold weeks of October and November 1994, the team, under extremely difficult and secret conditions, repackaged 600 kg of uranium and flew it directly to the Y-12 plant in Tennessee, USA. Where it was converted into low enriched uranium under the supervision of IAEA.

Recalling this operation, former US diplomat Andy Weber recently said that its biggest lesson was that if you can take the material out of the country, you can solve the problem. If Tehran had got that material in the 90s, it would have had a huge nuclear arsenal today.

From Libya to Venezuela: A History of Nuclear Seizures

The success of Kazakhstan boosted the confidence of American military diplomacy so much that it carried out similar operations in many other countries in the coming years. In 2003, when Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi agreed to stop his weapons of mass destruction program.

Then the American army entered there and killed Pakistan’s AQ. More than 55,000 pounds of nuclear documents related to the Khan network, centrifuge parts, nuclear weapon designs, and approximately 13 to 17 kilograms of highly enriched uranium fuel were captured.

Not only this, this trend has not stopped; Most recently, on May 10, 2026, the United States, with the help of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Venezuelan government, safely evacuated approximately 13.5 kg of enriched uranium from the closed RV-1 research reactor near Caracas by land and sea to an American facility in South Carolina.

The IAEA itself has issued a statement calling it a very complex and sensitive operation, which proves that extracting uranium from foreign soil and bringing it to America is not diplomatically possible.

Although this work is not easy in Iran

But the biggest and bitter diplomatic truth here is that there is a world of difference between all these successful examples of history and the ground conditions of today’s Iran. The operations that took place in Kazakhstan, Libya and Venezuela were carried out with the full consent and diplomatic cooperation of the local governments there. America did not face any resistance there.

In contrast, ‘Operation Also’ took place in a war-torn and collapsing Nazi Germany. Today’s Iran is an extremely powerful sovereign country, with modern air defense systems, deadly missiles, thousands of drones and a strong will to fight.

According to the report of Axios, Israeli officials themselves believe that President Trump is a little hesitant with the idea of sending special forces to Iran because this operation is very risky. Iran’s nuclear bases are enclosed in layers of concrete hundreds of feet below the mountains, entering where military action would be no less than a suicide mission.

Pentagon military analysts have warned that if there is even the slightest mistake in this operation, it will not only prove to be a major disaster for American soldiers, but will also throw the entire Middle East into a regional nuclear war that no one will be able to handle.

Iran’s uranium stockpile a maze for Trump-Netanyahu

Historical events show that out of pride in their power, superpowers often take decisions that cost future generations. Iran’s uranium stockpile has become such a maze for Trump and Netanyahu, from which there is a way to enter, but there is no way to get out.

These two lines of the famous poet Mir Taqi Mir fit perfectly on this deadly game of power and war:

‘It’s the beginning of love, does he cry?
Let’s see what happens in the future.

It is clear that as easy as it looks on paper for Donald Trump to repeat ‘Project Sapphire’ inside Iran, it is equally impossible and dangerous on the ground. But since both the leaders have made the destruction of this uranium stockpile the ultimate goal of their war, in the coming days we may see the biggest military confrontation in history.
