iOS 27 has been unveiled at Apple WWDC 2026, this next OS update of the company will come with a more optimized user interface. Along with this, you will also get the upgraded version of Siri, SIRI AI Assistant. Not only this, the company also says that with this new update, compared to iOS 26, apps in iPhone and iPad will open up to 30 percent faster. Apple says that with the new iOS 27, photos will also load up to 70 percent faster. Now as far as the arrival of this new operating system is concerned, it is expected that supported iPhone models can get this new update by the third quarter of 2026. This new update will be compatible with iPhone 11 and all subsequent models.
Speed will become faster in iOS 27
The company says that the iOS 27 update will arrive later this year, which will bring significant improvements to Apple’s liquid glass design, including a slider to control opacity and several new performance improvements. Air Drop transfer will be completed up to 80 percent faster. Users will also see improvement in switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks. The company also says that the optimized CPU scheduler will provide better performance on devices that get software updates.
The next version of the company’s iPhone operating system is equipped with many new AI features. The most notable change is in the Siri AI assistant, which is now equipped with a combination of Apple’s own Foundation models and Google’s Gemini AI models. An app of Siri was also launched through which users will be able to read old chats also. Apple Intelligence features are also included in several apps, including Safari, Wallet, Photos, and the Shortcuts app on iOS 27. Users will also be able to customize Siri’s voice, adjusting the assistant’s pitch, speed, tone and accent.
