Welcome 3 Trailer Review: Fake Film, Real Jungle, Real Danger and Real Idiots…This is the theme of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. You can also call it a tagline. The picture is going to hit the screens on June 26. Currently the trailer has arrived. Duration is 4 minutes 10 seconds. The second longest trailer of Bollywood till date after Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Singham Again’. But the question is, how is the trailer? Answer- Is this the trailer only or the entire film?
Before talking about how the trailer is, let us know what is in the trailer. The trailer starts by telling that a film is being made with a budget of Rs 2000 crore. The title is- Welcome to the Jungle. There are more than 20 stars in the star cast including Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav. in the last Akshay Kumar Entry is made. He would be introduced saying that ‘once upon a time he was a top hero, now he is a flop hero.’ That means Akshay’s real life career graph was used here, so that the audience feels connected to the film. Looking at the trailer, it seems that all the actors will be seen in their real life names.
How is the trailer?
Now coming to how is the trailer? Answer- It is good, entertaining, but a little more work could have been done on the punchline. Some punchlines are amazing, but there are some which seem weak according to the level of the film. For example, at one place Akshay says to Daler Mehndi that Paaji, now go and explain, your name is Daler. On this, Daler Mehndi says, “What a daler, daler… not everyone becomes a daler just because of the name Daler. My wife’s name is Shanti, she keeps dancing all day long.”
There are more than 20 stars in the film and the biggest names are there. One minute is spent in the trailer to introduce everyone. An attempt has been made to give screen time to all the stars in the trailer and it has been successful to a great extent. Barring one or two stars, the makers have presented everyone in front of the audience in 4 minutes and 10 seconds. Similarly, in the next film also, if everyone got good screen time and dialogues, if the presentation is right, then the film can make people laugh. But if the makers failed to present such a huge star cast properly, the cast remained only in name, then it would prove to be a weak link for the film. But the makers have been successful in the trailer.

Director Ahmed Khan’s work looks amazing in the trailer. If we look at the trailers of some of his previous films like ‘Baaghi 2’, ‘Baaghi 3’, ‘Heropanti 2’, his work in this trailer looks the best compared to all of them. His presentation is good. There are some minor shortcomings in the trailer, but looking at this trailer it does not seem at all that there is much lack of fun element in this film. The trailer raises expectations for the film and increases curiosity.
