The decision to leave the job is as easy as it sounds, but in reality it is equally difficult. Especially when the salary you receive every month has become the basis of your entire life. Facing this fear, one person took a step which not everyone has the courage to take.
The person resigned from his job, even though he did not have any other job offer. After leaving the job, he shared his experiences on social media, seeing which thousands of people were able to connect with him. This story is of a professional named Karan. He posted a video on his Instagram account, in which he wrote just one line – 60 days without salary.

For employed people, this sentence seems no less than a big fear. The habit of receiving salary in the account every month becomes so deep that even imagining a life without it creates anxiety at times. Karan told in the caption of his video that he had left his job at the end of March. He was working in the same company for about two years. During this period, many times he thought of quitting the job, but stopped himself every time. They used to hope that maybe the next appraisal would be better, maybe the working environment would improve or maybe the times to come would be better than before. He continued to wait in this hope.
However, as time passed, he realized that moving forward based on hope alone was not the solution. He realized that he was stuck in a situation where the job was troubling him mentally, but financial security was not allowing him to get out of it. Ultimately he decided to take the risk and resigned.
While sharing his experience, Karan said an interesting thing. He wrote that salary is like a drug. Every month, money comes into the account on the fixed date and for some time all the problems seem small. Gradually a person organizes his entire life around the same salary. Expenses, plans, dreams and responsibilities everything starts to depend on that regular income. This is the reason why despite being dissatisfied with the job, many people are unable to muster the courage to leave it.
