A biker from Uttarakhand closely observed this discipline of Kerala and shared his experience on social media. The guy’s video has now become a topic of discussion among the people. In the video, the person has openly praised the traffic discipline seen on the roads of Kochi.
What was seen on the roads of Kerala?
Rohan Kumar Mandal, who runs an account with the name _rrr_056 on Instagram, has posted this video. In the video, Rohan is seen traveling on the streets of Kochi city on his bike. During this time he saw something which attracted him a lot. He told that almost all the bike riders traveling on the road were wearing helmets.
Rohan says in the video that wherever he looked, every bike driver and the person sitting behind was seen wearing a helmet. According to him, the seriousness of people regarding traffic rules was seen at a different level here. He said that such a sight is rarely seen in many other parts of the country.
The biker also noted that the helmets being used by people were not just to follow the rules, but good quality helmets were chosen keeping safety as priority. According to Rohan, many people were wearing premium class helmets, which can cost up to thousands of rupees.
Premium class helmets seen on the road
He told that some helmets were seen whose price would have been around five thousand rupees. Many youth were also seen wearing expensive helmets worth Rs 20 to 25 thousand. Seeing this, he realized that people here are very aware about road safety and consider helmets not just as a legal requirement but as an important part of their safety.
Rohan jokingly said that the people of Kerala appear to be quite “crazy” about helmets. But there was also a positive message hidden behind his words. His point was that people here take the safety of their lives seriously and take necessary precautions while going out on the road.
